Showcase and Awards Night

Friday 19th April at St Cyres School – 7pm

We can’t wait for our annual Showcase and Awards night to celebrate our fabulous students.
Senior Dance as well as our Saturday Lower Junior and Top Junior classes will be performing during the evening.

Showcase is your chance to show us what you can do with your own work. Divided into age three sections: Lower Juniors, Top Juniors and Seniors.
You can act, dance or sing for our panel of independent judges on your own or in groups of up to four students.

Rules: Must be your own work.
Time limits: 2mins for solos, 2:30mins for 2/3/4 performers.
You can compete in up to two acts, but only ONE solo.
The age group is determined by the oldest dancer in the group – for example, if a Lower Junior and Top Junior entered a duet it would compete in the Top Junior section.
Only PAAW students are eligible to perform.
You must costume your act yourself.
Your entry won’t be registered until money has been received from each person in your act.

Music: Vicky can edit music for you if needed (£1 per song), music for editing must be received by 12th April Please let me know where you’d like the cuts to be and send it via wetransfer.com
All music MUST be submitted by Sunday 14th April via wetransfer.com to vicky@paaw.co.uk
We transfer works best when using a desktop not a phone.

Entry fees: £5 – solo, £3 per person – Duet/Trio/Quartet

Awards Night: Our PAAW awards night is our opportunity to thank our students for their incredible work this year. Including awards selected by teachers for: Hardest worker, most improved, best newcomer, best performer etc. As well as class voted awards and for the first year ‘Dancer of the Year’ voted by PAAW students.
