Performing Arts Academy Wales

Giving students the specialised professional training of both a theatre school and a dance school – all in one academy!

We are starting back classes from Wednesday 5th May – please check your emails and/or the parents login section.

*Some class times and locations have changed. Please check with us if you’re unsure.

PAAW believes that every child should be nurtured irrespective of ability, and training should be offered to all at the highest standard.

The Academy also has a social dimension where all can grow in self-confidence both through the skills they learn and the friendships they make, fostering a family atmosphere.

The Academy opened it’s doors in September 2010 and quickly established itself as one of the leading Performing Arts Schools in the area.

Students have worked with top companies at famous venues including; National Dance Company Wales, English National Ballet, Tap Attack, Flawless, the Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells, the Millennium Stadium, Wales Millennium Centre and the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

We have a 100% pass rate for all exams with 92% of students gaining Merits and Distinctions. PAAW students are also regularly selected to train at the UKs leading and most competitive full-time training colleges including ; Italia Conti, The Joffery Ballet School, Bird College, Laine Theatre Arts, Wilkes Academy, Guilford School of Acting, The Royal Ballet School, London Studio Centre and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts to name a few

‘I’m delighted to be the Patron of Performing Arts Academy Wales. It’s so important that schools like this exist to nurture the next generation of performers in Wales, guided by expert tuition and encouragement, and I look forward to seeing the progression of the students who will hopefully one day tread the boards of theatres around the world!’
