Showcase is our annual ‘in-house’ competition where students put their acts together themselves. A celebration of their creativity and own work; students can act, sing or dance and even costume their performance themselves! Independent judges are then invited to select winners in our age groups.
In 2023 we also combined our annual ‘Awards Night’ with Showcase – making for a spectacular evening and with special performances from our Saturday Lower & Top Junior classes and our Senior Dance class.

Showcase – 2025

We love our annual Showcase and Awards night and we were thrilled to have a very special alumni member judging this year – Jake Morrish, former song & dance World Champion, he has just graduated from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts and has already booked a major UK tour! It was very inspiring for our students to have Jake judging them.
Our awards night is filled with our wonderful students achievements, class awards – voted by their peers, including ‘class clown’ and our very special ‘Dancer of the Year’ award voted by the whole school.

Showcase – 2024

Showcase – 2023

After a long break (no thanks to covid), Showcase was finally back July 2023 and combined for the first time with our Awards Night. Hosted at St Cyres School, it was a very special occasion for all as our Junior and Senior dance classes performed and we were able to celebrate the hard work of our students. We love Showcase and getting to watch the students own work and creativity. It was a wonderful evening and the judges had a very hard job!! Big thank you to our judges Liv Tucker (former PAAW student and London Studio Centre Graduate) and Nia Hopkins (former PAAW student and choreographer).

Showcase 2019

Having out grown our previous location, for the first time we moved venues this year. Showcase was held at Ysgol Y Deri and was a huge success at our new venue. The students had more room for their performance and the audience loved being in a proper theatre. Another highly entertaining evening, we’re very proud of the work all of our students produced. Thank you to our judges Jane Clarke (Dance teacher and choreographer), Ashleigh Patrick (former PAAW student) and Nia Spilsbury (former PAAW student).

Also, for the first time, we added a third place award as the school as grown so much.
