Acro Teacher

Rhian has been an Acrobatics Teacher, Cheerleading Coach and Dance Teacher for many years. Rhian has been a dancer since the age of four years old and was trained at Performing Arts Cymru in Bridgend and Miss Susan Theodores School of Ballet (Bridgend). She has trained in many genres including Acrobatics, Cheerleading, Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, SMC, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama, which she has completed dance examinations and competitions in these styles. She has danced in many places including Disneyland Paris, Royal Albert Hall in London and the Princess Royal Theatre, where she entered competitions and performed in shows and pantomimes.

Rhian is now a qualified Primary School Teacher and is completing her Master’s degree in Education, focusing on Innovation in Learning and Teaching with learners who have Special Educational Needs. Rhian is also qualified with the companies; ‘Acrobatic Arts’ (Module One), ‘United Cheerleading Credentials’ and ‘Building from the Ground Up’. She is also completing her Diploma in Dance Education Level 4 in Modern Theatre Dance. Rhian is aiming to complete her Acrobatic Arts Module Two training when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, and she is completing her Progressing Ballet Technique training in May 2021. In the future, Rhian aspires to be working with learners in an education setting, as well as continuing her passion and love for teaching dance.
