For students in school years 3-13
Saturday 11am-1pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Woodland Place, Penarth.
This class aims to build confidence, imagination and performance skills as well as being perfect for anyone who loves to sing! We work on building student’s confidence whilst they receive fantastic training both technically and performance wise. Covering different songs from different musicals throughout each term learning lyrics, harmonies and staging. We also cover a vast amount of dramatic techniques including; script work, improvisation, prop skills, speech work, characterisation, monologues, mime, mask work, solo and group work. Giving children a rounded dramatic training suitable for both stage and screen.
Our annual show this year was in March and was a huge success with students performing a selections of songs and scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Oliver! and more.
Our Musical Theatre students will be performing at the Wales Millennium Centre, Sunday 23rd June along side famous West End and Broadway stars in ‘A Night At The Musicals’
Most recently, students have performed alongside West End stars Ruthie Henshall, John Owen-Jones and Kerry Ellis.
